if you live in bostonia/cambridge…

by pieces of moments

I am proud to be a member of the Radius Ensemble in Boston, MA. I believe so strongly in the amazing, adventurous, forward-thinking, spirit of the group.

The ensemble is opening the 11th season with two concerts this weekend:

October 3rd, Killian Hall (MIT), 160 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, 8 PM

October 4th, Rivers School Conservatory, Rivera Hall, 333 Winter St., Weston, 4PM

Repertoire for both dates is as follows:

HOLLAND Alchemy for flute and cello
FRANÇAIX Wind Quartet
SCHUBERT Octet in F, D. 803

Save $2 on your ticket if you order online.

Be there or be square (and you really don’t wanna be a square, I know you don’t…)!

Oh, and the brilliant clarinetist for the ensemble, Eran Egozy, will be featured in an interview on WGBH Classical Connections tomorrow (89.7 FM at 8:33 am/Morning Edition &  5:44 pm/All Things Considered). Even if you don’t know Eran (a fellow NECer), you probably know his company’s (Harmonix Music) invention: the video game, Rock Band, making headlines recently for the much anticipated release of The Beatles: Rock Band.

But don’t worry. You don’t have to live in Bostonia or Cambridge to catch the interview. There’s an mp3 waiting online – just for you – right here.
